After dropping off Jason’s mom for her flight in the morning, we hauled ass north to Shroud Cay to meet up with our friends Erin and Kara on Vela. We had a pretty pleasant sail and even rolled into the anchorage earlier than anticipated! Jason used the last of the coconut bread to make bread pudding. (Which was delicious!) We had our friends over for dinner and to hang out on our new boat. Duster has apparently decided that if it’s dark he’s not scared of the water and started running outside to do laps around the boat and even laid down on the trampoline. What a little weirdo!

It’s his boat now
Bread pudding

He laid down right there and stuck his tail in my bowl. Cats are assholes.

Here’s Vela with our underwater lights on!

Shroud is my favorite island and I’m super excited to go exploring tomorrow after spending the day sailing! We’re the only boats in the anchorage right now too, which is pretty nice!
