Eventually Ian had to head back home and we had to get back to our normal routine. This time it consisted of hiding from another frontal storm system with west wind. (I’m getting kind of sick of those…)  We decided to head north to Cambridge Cay and see if we could get a mooring ball to ride out the wind on. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea and there were none available. We anchored just in front of the mooring field for the night and I got up the next morning and went on a kayaking expedition around cay. I saw quite a few stingrays and turtles!

Jason decided he didn’t really like where we were anchored since there wasn’t really any protection from the west and the current was fairly strong.  He found us a new place just across the way at Bell Cay.  Bell is, unfortunately, a private island with a few of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. You can’t own the water though, so one of the bays had a handful of boats tucked up inside to hide from the wind. Somehow I didn’t get any pictures of this, but it was a great spot and we will definitely be going back next time we need to hide!
