We rolled into Flamingo Cay much later than we wanted to but given it was three times the distance we had planned on covering it wasn’t really too bad! We stopped here briefly on the way down but didn’t get off the boat to see anything.  This time we stayed here for a few days with the anchorage mostly to ourselves and did some hiking! This island has huge bluffs along the ocean and some tide pools in the middle full of tiny red shrimp.

Doesn’t look tropical at all!

Tiny sand dollar!
Peregrine and Vela
Another shitty sunset. Lol
I found this ball while hiking. It was full of sand and broke like an egg shell. Super weird.

Jason at the blow hole

Measuring the depth. Only 12’ but it seems deeper!
Marking the cactus

Huge bull shark under the boat

This island has a ton of cactus on it that made hiking through the middle realllll awkward. We had to send Erin on a swim once to go get a dinghy to just pick us up. The bubbling tidal pools were also way cooler than I thought they would be.  There’s always neat stuff like this that’s not on the charts that you only find by exploring!
