When jason and I bought the dinghy for our boat we got a really good deal on a nice lightweight Achilles 10’. It wasn’t the one we wanted but it was a fantastic price and it should have worked fine. However after using it for a while we realized that while it was a great dinghy it sprayed water everywhere while running underway. Just a super wet boat. Both jason and I ended up hating it. So we bit the bullet and traded it in on the one we really wanted: an AB aluminum hull. Why? The hull is a super deep V with a high bow. This means it’ll slice through waves. It’s also slightly longer and has bigger pontoons! Expensive, but totally worth it.
