The sail from Stuart to West Palm beach was pretty much a tour of the houses of some of the wealthiest people in the country. They were insane… huge mansions with lush landscaping, fountains, private docks, and boats that are more expensive than we will ever be able to afford.

Once we actually made it to downtown the wealth just ramped up. The marina is nothing but 100’ or larger megayachts with another dock dedicated to their tenders (most of which were about as big as our sailboat!)

obviously with all of the yachts and mansions there were a lot of cars. I could have just sat at the corner coffee shop and just taken pictures of them all day long. Ferraris, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, rolls Royce, Bentley… they were all there.

unfortunately I actually didn’t sit down and take pictures of all of the cars. Maybe I’ll do that next time if we stop by on our way up. Jason and I did go for a few walks around town. There’s some fantastic street art on some of the buildings!

Our boat out in the anchorage
Duster hiding in the cabin

We got a lot accomplished while in west palm. The boat and dinghy are fully sorted now and we’ve done our last provision run! We’re ready to go!
