Normally you wouldn’t expect much from an event labeled “the world’s least important car show” but Billetproof remains my favorite show of the year. It’s definitely not your typical pastel & chrome street rod festival with the row of old guys in fold up chairs fighting over trophies. Billetproof is limited to 700 (ok, more sneak into the back parking lot…) traditional hot rods, kustoms, and rat rods. If you don’t fit their criteria, you don’t get in! The thing I like the most about this particular show is it seems like every car, whether you like it or not, has at least one thing about it that’s unique and interesting and that’s pretty hard to find nowadays. I’ll be back next year for sure!
Another great show this year and a fun time taking Jessica to her first ever car show! You picked a good one! Now I have renewed motivation to finish up my ’37 for next year’s festivities.
Cool, thanks Ashley!
My favorite was the tan Oldsmobile with the whitewalls, under the “Events Building” sign, that looked stock. I’ve always really liked old stuff that looked original.
Oh, and the topless lady welder…
