There aren’t any options for wilderness camping in the Steens, only official campgrounds.  We chose one at the bottom of the mountain that was connected to the trailheads for Little Blitzen and Big Indian Creek.

Overall a pretty nice camp site with lots of space between sites, nice trees, and level spots.  They also had a picnic table that made cooking dinner much easier!
