Today is Jason’s birthday!  We still have a lot of work to do on the boat, so we started our morning over there working on the wiring.  Our current focus is to get all of the large wires run from the solar panels, inverter, charger, and batteries to all the places they need to go.

These are half of the wires to supply power from the solar panels!
Hard to get a picture of this stuff, but most of the main fuses and buses are hooked up
I’m still working on cleaning up the back of the AC and DC panels
It’s starting to look nicer back here!
This is my little wiring “nest”. I have all of my tools and discarded zip ties surrounding me. I still manage to lose everything every single time.

After a few hours of work I convinced Jason to go to Woodpecker’s BBQ… because his sister Jamie and her boyfriend Bob and his kids were going to meet us there for a surprise party for Jason!  Jason kept wanting to go to a different BBQ place, but I talked him into going to woodpeckers to “pick up some banana pudding”.  We pulled into the parking lot and he saw Jamie and Bob and figured it out! 🙂

Jamie and Lily made him banana pudding from scratch (it was amazing!) and even put some candles in it! It was a nice lunch! 🙂

34 and a few extras….

I ordered the rib sandwich, which I assumed would just be rib meat on a sandwich.  We even joked about how funny it would be and how hard it would be to eat if they just left the bones in!  Well… that’s what I got!

Definitely hard to chew…

It was delicious and worth getting covered in meat juice for. Highly recommend Woodpecker’s if anyone happens to be in Jacksonville.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!
