I tried to set up the storage shed out back into a makeshift photo studio, but apparently it gets really cold out there and the models did not approve! Next plan of action? How about the garage! Since the truck is gone, I have so much more space to work with!  I started by hanging my large black sheet that I got on Amazon for like $15 and then set up a mixture of my garden lights and my shiny new light stand and diffuser that I got for my birthday! It almost looks professional in there! (Took a picture of it all set up on my phone but can’t find it now to post dangit!)

Lucky for me I have a group of very pretty friends and Yuli volunteered to brave my hopefully-warmer garage so I could mess around with my new lights and try to get my shit together.  I learned a lot about lighting and the difficulties of only having one working, but we made some pretty nice photos!  They’re really not my usual style and have a very old school oil painting look to them.

My favorite shot of the session. So classy!

This is what happens when models steal furniture from the house! 😉
lounge!

We didn’t get too many photos from this shoot because I was mostly just screwing around with my equipment the entire time, but I’m in love with the first one! Thanks again to Yuli for being awesome and ever so patient! 🙂
