I started out with some black and white photos from our group snowshoe adventure to Mt. Rainier.  However towards the end of our hike the sun did come out and bring all the color out of the trees and mountains!  So here’s a post with color photos!

Mt. Rainier was hidden by clouds most of the hike, it wasn’t until they cleared off temporarily that I realized just how close we were to the mountain! I realize that yeah, it’s another day of brutal hiking to get anywhere close to the actual top, but seeing as we usually only see it while driving down the highway at sea level, I found it impressive! Even most of the way up it, it’s still a gigantic mountain! It was also cool to see the glacier on the side!

This is Rainier! We were CLOSE to it!

I liked the shadows of the little trees for some reason

One of my favorite shots. I like the moody lighting!
