Me, Jason, Yuli, and Nate thought it would be fun to take the ferry over to Seattle for the day while we were up visiting!  Cliffsnotes: it was! It was also suuuuper foggy. So much so that the ferry was late arriving and leaving from Bremerton.  I’ve only seen it that bad out on the water a few times!  Either way, we had delicious dumplings at Dough Zone, found some Taiyaki “custard fish” from a food truck, and went shopping at the Uwajimaya asian supermarket. Shenanigans were had!

Love the graffiti as always!
We couldn’t even see the tops of the buildings!
No
No, again
This place rocks… go here!
They were sold out at the end of the day but made Jason these little fish out of the last of the batter!

It turns out Yuli had never been to the famous (for some reason…) Seattle gum wall!  They scraped all the gum off and cleaned it a year or two ago, but it’s already covered in chewed gum again. Honestly… it’s a disgusting place and I don’t know why it’s a thing. But we were close so we went down to check it out!

Nice lighting down there

Not impressed!!!
Me neither… lol

We also wandered through the Pike Place Market even though it was shut down for the night.

Standard tourist shot!
Yuli under the neon lights!

Now for the fun part… we were at the ferry terminal to wait for our boat home when it was revealed that the ferry was going to be like an hour and a half late due to the crazy thick fog. Awesome.  Guess we had time to stop for coffee after all! I killed some time taking pictures of the skyline at night.

The ferry finally made it!
