This week’s photo challenge is “low key”, which should have been an easy target for me.  My style of photography is generally dark and gritty with high contrast: exactly what low key is meant to be.  The problem is, yet again, I’m behind on the photo challenge again so I’m just going to make this theme fit.

Jason and I went mountain biking a few days ago just cruise around at a relaxing pace, scout Banner Forest for photoshoot locations, and take some photos.  You could say it was pretty… low key… har har har. But seriously, I didn’t quite find what I was looking for and one of my flashes didn’t work, but I managed to salvage a few pics for the blog anyway.

Jason through the trees. I was way too far away and getting line of sight through a forest is easier said than done. Next time bring a machete.
Finally a photo of me! Jason stole my camera and tried panning. Again, there were too many trees for this to work quite like he had in mind.
Now we’re talking!
I liked the composition with the bridge
Here’s one down low. I hate that tree in the background.
Wide angle underneath the bike makes a dynamic photo
Jason tries to wheelie my bike. Apparently it doesn’t handle quite the same as his! 😉
Two shots of myself in one day?! I almost look like I know what I’m doing… but no fancy wheelies.
