My mom always told me that I could get up whenever I wanted on Christmas morning as long as I went into the kitchen and turned on the coffee and waited until it was done to wake her up.  This morning she beat me awake, so I made her second pot of coffee (and one for me!) and then joyously woke up Jason and dad for Christmas morning present-shredding fun! No idea how they can still be sleeping so peacefully… It didn’t last long. 😉

PRESENTS!!!!
PRESENTS!!!!

Overall a pretty fantastic morning! We all drank coffee (except Jason, cause he’s weird) and took turns opening out presents. I got pajama pants as usual and everyone else got random treats from Japan.  (work trips make for pretty convenient shopping!) It’s a tradition for mom and her friends to all meet at the beach for a giant pot luck lunch. So we lounged around the house while we waited for the ham and sweet potatoes to cook and then headed down to the beach! It was pretty windy, but thankfully warmer than last year!

What happens if you touch a Man-o-War? I think I poked at one with a fingertip in South Africa, but don’t remember having any problems afterwards…
