After spending the morning learning to surf and the afternoon lounging around by the pool, we headed out to a local ranch to get on some horses and explore a little bit on horseback. After all of the different methods of human conveyance we’ve tried this week, why not? 😉
So seriously. We’re on these horses riding down this beautiful white sandy beach at sunset and of course the beach has tourists on it. They’re enamored by all of these beautiful people on magnificent steeds parading in front of them and are snapping photos like paparazzi. Kind of cool but also if they weren’t there I might have been able to go at a speed faster than a walk. 😉 ohwell I guess. At least I got to get my horse riding fix, right?
Dinner was at this beautiful outdoor restaurant right on the beach. When we arrived, the guides had already ordered a few pizzas to hold us over until the real food came. I had another mint lemonade. I’m seriously going to have to plant some mint in my garden at home because I love it in drinks! The sun started to go down right as we arrived, so of course I’m out there with my camera snapping away like an idiot.
The most random thing that happened that night was a group of people for some reason launching those lanterns. It was rather windy and they only got two up before I got bored and went to get some more food. I really would like to go to a lantern festival something though, because I bet it’s gorgeous when the sky is full of them.
