At one point on our photo walk around Vancouver, Bryan saw a row of dumpsters and guided us over to them to take fun macro pictures of the graffiti and colorful paint.  We stayed in that area for longer than is reasonable given the only thing there were gigantic trash receptacles.  It was actually a pretty interesting alley that had a view of the tower at the end.
