Today we woke up and decided to tackle a longer hike along the north fork Skokomish river trail in the Staircase region of Olympic National Park.  Our hike ended up being 7 miles long, which is our current personal record! (yay! but also, we really need to hike more!) The really annoying thing was that maybe a mile into our hike I got bit on the right ass cheek by some sort of stinging insect.  Neither of us saw it fly away but it hurt for like the next 4 miles! I didn’t deserve that!
