I was super upset with the first red leaf I found on the ground this year. I wasn’t done with summer and still had so many things I wanted to do. I’m not ready for fall and the stupid months of rain that will follow it! However, after my trip to the Yukon and enjoying all of the fall color there, I’m mourning summer quite as bad as I was. I don’t really like pumpkin spice anything, but I do enjoy crisp air, hoodies, bonfires, and colorful leaves. So, overall, I need to quite my whining because it’s going to happen anyway! Here are some photos that I took of the aforementioned leaves, most of which are in my yard. They were all taken with my new 100-400mm lens. A few even turned out looking like oil paintings, which is kind of neat.
