Our plan was to drive north and then the weather would be cool and pleasant, but that wasn’t meant to be because the weather was in the high 90’s and not really pleasant to camp in.  Instead of boondocking somewhere we headed to a KOA in Miles City, Montana.  We usually make fun of the KOA campgrounds because they’re usually just huge parking lots in shitty locations, but this one was small with clean, convenient amenities and the friendliest employees! It was a great experience!

Another buffalo stopping traffic on our way out

We took a little break from driving to stop by a random campground at a fishing hole on the river to look for rocks!

I found a ton of rocks, obviously!
Grain silos?

Made it to Miles City
This is an antique store with a coffee shop inside!

Breakfast at the cafe inside the antique store

Overall, Miles City was kind of cute! We had a very relaxing time at the KOA and didn’t boil to death at night in the heat.
