After painting the mud room seafoam green, the rest of the house looked super boring.  We’ve just spent the past week cowering in our house due to the extreme cold front and I spent most of that time on Pinterest working on what to do in the entry way of the house.  A quick trip to lowes and I was ready to get started!  Putting the masking tape up around all of the doors took forever and unfortunately the tape I used wasn’t great so I ended up with a lot of bleed through and it pulled some of the paint off the walls when I removed it.  I’ll have to do some touch up painting later (when I remember… which I won’t).

I settled on coral and raspberry.  Life is too short for gray walls.

Top half done
I just went ahead and painted the lower color as well below the paint line
The tape line works awesome as a divider between the colors
I love it!

Time to hang some stuff on the walls! I started with my big poster of Bob Ross because I thought the blue background would go well with the pink walls.

There’s bob!

For the other side I hung a cat picture I got at the thrift store and a needlepoint thing that mom made for me during covid lockdowns.  I still want something cool for on top of the front door.  Something will turn up at the flea market eventually!

The final product!
