Currently our entire house is painted “agreeable gray” which is really only one step up from “builder grade white”.  It’s boring and I hate it.  Time to shake things up!

The final step was replacing the light fixture.  I bought the part to convert from a regular bulb to a hanging light, but our entire house is hardwired for LED lights and I didn’t want to rewire the light.  In the end it was way easier to just modify the top of the shade and screw it right into the ceiling.  It’s kind of lazy but it worked.  I also bought this really cool poster and have been searching forever to find a nice frame for it instead of one of the shitty ones from Amazon.  I did find a great frame but it ended up being gigantic so now I have the print sitting on the shelf sideways. Maybe I’ll fix it later, but for now the mud room is done!
