You may be wondering where we are actually headed.  After living on both coasts and on a boat for two years where would we actually pick to explore first? Well…. Arkansas of all places. LOL.  The town of Bentonville has been funneling money into their mountain biking trails and outdoor activities for years and it looks like a super cool place to potentially move.  We booked an Airbnb for a week and headed south to check it out!

Bentonville is an easy half day drive from Jason’s parents’ house so we rolled into town well before our airbnb was available.  So to kill some time we drove straight over to the closest bike shop and bought a matched set of mountain bikes! (hey, we’re predictable!)

If you don’t collect all the toys possible are you even trying?
My shiny new beast! I’ve missed biking!

My parents came up for a few days since they missed us.  We did a lot of driving around and just looking at things, scoping out the area, doing super slow mountain bike rides because we’re hella out of shape, and looking at houses.

There’s a bass pro here, but the fish are different from the Florida fish!
These are not Tuna?
Duster pretty much just makes himself at home wherever our duffel bags get tossed down.

We went to walk one morning down at the Coler Preserve.  It’s full of mountain bike trails, but also has a fantastic paved path through it.  The cherry on top was Airship Coffee nestled into a hill right in the middle of the park.  You can’t even drive a car to it.  So I  can hike or bike and then go get a latte? I think I’m liking it here….

Airship is an open air concrete building. Super cool but a terrible photo of it!
Nice paved path
Amazing old barn
Yeah, we’re definitely taking photos in here!
Clear creek running through

Fat little bumblebee!
