Our friends on Vela had never been to our new favorite spot at Prime Cay! We decided to leave Black Point early in the morning to catch high tide and move south while the wind was calm.

The wind direction and angle ended up being more favorable than predicted (unusual!) so we had a fantastic sail south.  Vela has 1’ more depth than True North so we had to pay attention when we got to the entrance to the anchorage at Prime Cay. They followed us right in, easy peasy!
