While driving around exploring the Hart Mountain Antelope Refuge we found this cute little cabin on a creek in an aspen grove. Of course we had to stop and take some pictures of it!

The Barnhardy Cabin (also spelled Barnhardi) sits nestled among a shimmering grove of aspen. It’s an old line shack used by livestock herders in the days when that was permitted in this part of the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge. There is no furniture remaining, only the remnant of a stove pipe.
