After we left Washington we headed straight south to Bend, Oregon.  In addition to being one of our favorite places ever, they also have fantastic food!  Our intended dinner destination, Spork, was closed. (I cried a little inside..) so we headed over to Noi Thai for some “crack chicken”. (crispy garlic chicken. trust me on this one, you need it!). We’ve been here before and didn’t intend to stay very long so we continued out of town to a campsite up on a butte.  The view is fantastic and it gets great cell service!

Tent all set up

Glad I replaced the lights in the hatch with LED. Now we can see!
Good morning sun!
Good morning 4Runner!

Doesn’t the Runner look cool?! Love my new stripes and all the shit on the roof… (always makes it look adventure-y).  We drove around offroad and did some exploring and a little hiking!

Climbed to the top just to see what was there. It was nothing, but the truck looked neat down there all tiny.

After a night of camping, even with the cats left at the parents’ house in Nevada, our 4Runner is *packed* with all of our camping stuff.  It’s almost overflowing into the front seat!

I don’t even know where my snacks are….

The first night in our new tent was a success.  We didn’t get too cold and it wasn’t even windy!
