After the previous day’s excitement with the hit and run incident, pulling the boat out of the water wasn’t nearly as exciting as I thought it would be.  The process is straightforward and the reverse of putting the boat into the water.  Kyle fired up the travel lift and set the straps up, drove it onto the loading area and dropped the straps into the water.  Then we manhandled the boat onto the straps and they lifted her up and drove her over to the parking area. Easy!

On its way over

Time to drag the boat back

In place

Up and out!

In the slings

She gets to stay here for the weekend.
She was in the water for less than a week and already covered in slime!

She will spend the weekend in the slings and hopefully monday they will move her back to her spot on the grass.  We found a few things we want to fix  that we found while she was in the water and now we know the motor runs, so it was a successful trip!
