Jason got a new spear pole for spearfishing for Christmas and I’ve had new freediving fins for months, but haven’t ever gotten to use them!  We decided to remedy all of these issues by driving up to Neah Bay to do some freediving and spearfishing!  Unfortunately, when we got up there we realized that although the forecast was good and the wind was calm, the swell from the ocean was way too big for me to get out and swim in it.  We cut our losses and drove the rest of the way up to the far northwest corner of the state to hit up Cape Flattery and explore a little bit.  We haven’t been up this way in about 7 years so it was time for another adventure!

The stars were out for maybe 5 minutes and then the fog rolled back in. The truck was unintentionally light painted because I heard a critter in the woods and turned on my flash light!

Finally some wildlife!

I suppose I was a little disappointed by not being able to get into the water and it’s reflected in how moody I edited this series of photos… It’s also raining again here at home.  I want to go somewhere warm and tropical again!
