While I was with the photography workshop shooting bears on the river, we also stopped and took pictures of the many bald eagles lining the shore waiting to scoop up fish.  Most of the time they were a little too far away for me, but there was one younger bird who just wanted to eat his fish and didn’t care AT ALL that we were there. Bryan and I slowly crept closer waiting for it to fly away and it just never did! I think we were like 15′ away from the thing before it finished eating and just left! Amazing!

This was my first real time shooting birds in flight. They’re so frustrating, but I couldn’t stop! It’s addicting! Those hummingbirds at my house better watch out!
