One of my goals is to start putting more effort into taking better photos. I want to wake up early to catch the sunrise and do the drive or hike to the amazing location, etc. As usual, that didn’t happen on this trip. (that makes about 15 trips in a row… dangit). I guess Jason got sick of me whining about it so he decided he wanted a shot of the moon above the mountains and drove about 30 minutes in the wrong direction after we left for home so that the moon would be in the right spot. The location wasn’t really what it needed to be. (I think this is something you scout in advance…) And I needed the moon lower with a longer telephoto lens. Overall I’m still pretty pleased with the results.
