Well, it’s been a great Christmas vacation in Florida visiting friends and family.  Getting ready to pack our suitcase because we have to head home tomorrow to the real world.  May have to bribe our two very lonely kitties with some tuna once we get back. That should earn their forgiveness pretty quickly! 😉

Went to visit Caroline and watched the kayaks, birds, and manatees at Round Island Park.

The tourists were much more entertaining than the manatees.

Nice park. Wood bridges and paths all over the island. Would like to kayak here eventually.

Next place we went was Fort Pierce Inlet. Tons of people fish here. Didn't see a lot of catching though.

It was a pretty little boat and Jason had a blast moving the sail thing from side to side. I sat there and didn't touch anything.

This one was my favorite boat of the day. Nothing like 2-4 blown big blocks encased in a closed cockpit offshore powercat. DO WANT!

The ruins of what looked to be a very pretty beach house. Hurricanes are hard on real estate up here.

Saw this on the way back to the condo. Guess they weren't sure which way to go!

Anyway….what a great trip! It was much too short, but I’m also ready to be home and get to relax and work on my truck and pack for my next trip to Japan that’s coming up really soon!

    Thanks Ashley, loved the pics!

Of all of them, my favorite for some reason was the boat winch with the white and red rope. Just beautiful.
