Guam itself is actually a pretty small island.  We tried hiking last time we were out here and it was just way too hot and humid for a group of people acclimated to cold and rainy Washington State.  We only went to the main part of Tumon Bay once because it was a long walk from our hotel, and I didn’t bring my camera with me to the water this time.  So what does Guam actually even have? Apparently, they have the right conditions for epic sunsets almost every single night!

All of these photos were taken from about the same spot on the beach from my lounge chair while chilling with Jessica.  We went to California Pizza Kitchen and got salads to go (yes, I know… but they were really good!) and snuck them through the hotel lobby to eat them on the beach. It was an amazingly relaxing evening after work with my friend!  …and topped off with a killer sunset!

Every morning and evening teams of boaters would show up to paddle their little boats with traditional proa style outriggers back and forth along the bay. It looked like fun, but also like a whole lot of work. Sometimes their coach would put an old tire on the front of the boats for an even better workout.  They looked exhausted by the time the sun went down!

Yep, terrible ending to the day right here… 😉
