I had a goal of taking a picture of the city of Mesquite from up on top of the mesa with all of the light trails from the car headlights in the photo.  In my mind it looked super cool, in reality there aren’t enough cars running around Mesquite at night to make the trails that I wanted.  I took a few shots of the city and then I gave up and Jason and I turned our attention to the 4Runner instead!

Most of the photos of the truck were taken with a 30 second exposure on the camera.  While the picture was processing we took our headlamps and “painted” the truck with light to get the effect we wanted.
