Our first stop today was the Red Hills Desert Garden located just on the outskirts of St. George, Utah.  It showcases local plants, endangered species of plants, efficient landscaping, and even a set of dinosaur tracks! (I somehow didn’t get a photo of the dino tracks)

All the leaves had details like this in them.

I feel like this place would be a lot nicer in spring when the flowers are out.  Everything was decorated for christmas which kind of detracted from the garden feel… and it was like 40* outside. Not really making me want to hang around outside!

We decided to move on and check out the old downtown part of St. George. Mom and I scoured the row of shops for treasures and also found some sculptures in the park.

Neat old theater!
I couldn’t pass up the vintage photo shop sign!
I don’t think that leaf is supposed to be there.
Cute little frogs by the fountain
Ducks and ducklings!
