So here we are at the Cottonwood Creek campsite nestled up on the side of the mountains overlooking the Black Rock Desert.  I think the photos speak for themselves.

After the sun finally dropped below the horizon, we stayed outside with the camera and tripod to get some night shots.  It was pitch black with no moon at all and the milky way was stretched out overhead as far as the eye could see.
