So the whole reason Jason and I came to Moab in the first place was to do some epic mountain biking! We’ve wanted to come here for years now and finally got the chance!

Our first day of biking was out at the Klonzo trails.  Lots of trail options for different types of riding.

I didn't get many photos because I was too busy riding!

The next set of trails we did were part of the “magnificent 7” set that run along Bull Canyon.  Gemini bridges is a short hike from the trail and well worth the effort.  It is a set of parallel sandstone bridges perched above the canyon.  Unique feature for sure!

The last trail that we did was called the  whole enchilada.  Usually they start the trail further down, but conditions were right, so we took the shuttle allllll the way to the top of the Lasalle mountains at 10,000 feet and biked (hiked) up to over 11,000 feet. We live at darn near sea level. This hurt! 😮 I wish I’d had more time to stop and take pictures of this trail because it was gorgeous! The top part of the trail is through the bright yellow fall colors of an aspen tree forest. It’s just unreal.  My favorite part about this whole ride is that each trail is completely different. Some are flowy and fun, others are rocky and technical.  It just keeps spicing things up.  I can’t wait to go back! This is the most fun I’ve ever had mountain biking!

We’re already planning a trip next year to drag our friends down here for a week (or more!) of epic mountain biking, hiking, and exploring! Moab met and exceeded every expectation I had of it.  What a fantastic week!
