From Prime Cay we headed south to Leaf Cay. It was a convenient stopping point on our way to Georgetown. The main draw to this anchorage is the bay at the west end where a giant group of endangered pink rock iguanas live in the rocks and on the beach. Now to be fair I didn’t think this would be cool because it’s a huge tourist trap with tour boats racing in an out every half hour or so but we took the dinghy over anyway. I was proven wrong yet again. There were tons of iguanas just lining the beach and they were HUGE! (And pink!) Once the tour boat left we had them to ourselves for a little bit and we just wandered around the beach looking at them. They were like tiny dinosaurs!
