We anchored the boat at Jimmys Cay, a little further north than Musha and Rudder Cut. Because our boat has a shallow draft we were able to get pretty close to shore and out of the waves and current. I’m glad we decided to give this place a shot because it was gorgeous and full of interesting stuff. We met our friends in a shallow lagoon at low tide to float around our anchored dinghies and watch the turtles swim around. After we tired of that we motored to a smaller island across the way and attempted to hike to an abandoned cabin. No luck though, since the brush was way too thick. Next time we will bring our machete!
