Kaycee was my last ever shoot in Washington state before Jason and I gathered our stuff and moved all the way across the country to florida.  She’s another awesome person that I wish I had met years ago! She’s also extremely talented and makes these custom, intricate shoulder pieces. Her work is epic and I jumped at the chance to shoot her in one of her creations!

We met in one of the parking areas at Illahee State Park.  While I was waiting for Kaycee to show up I noticed a giant boulder in the landscaping that I liked and decided it would be my first location!

We also shot in some trees behind the pavilion.

Isn’t her giant split mermaid dress fantastic? We moved down the hill a little bit to a different spot that had some dead grass for a different look.

It would be a waste to have this fantastically dynamic dress and not try some action shots so I had her spin around a few times!

I added the fireflies myself… but it looks cool!

Eventually we made our way down to the beach that Illahee is actually known for.  There was a giant fallen tree with a huge ball of roots that’s a fantastic place to shoot!

The sun was quickly setting, but we got some last minute shots in the water before calling it a day!
