Sedona wasn’t exactly what we were expecting so we decided to bail early and start heading home.  It just happens that the petrified forest national park is right off the highway on the way home so we pretty much had to stop.  And on the way to the park is a gigantic rock stop with boulders of petrified wood in the parking lot.  We had to stop! I, of course, bought a few rocks out of principle.

oh yeahhhhh!
I need it!

heaven!

The park itself was a scenic drive through various colorful rock formations and outcroppings.  We stopped at a few of the little hiking trails to explore.  It was a little harder because we were towing our camper but we managed!
