We bought True North in Fort Pierce and that’s the only place we’ve ever been with her, which is pretty sad for an ocean-capable vessel.  Everyone was also super tired of just sitting around waiting and not really being able to use the boat for her intended purpose.  But finally, it was time to start heading south!  We need to get to West Palm to meet up with a guy from the company who is making our new sails, but that’s a week away.  The decision was made to head to Stuart, which is an easy day sail (motor…in our case.  No sails, remember?) south and has a cute little downtown with a killer ice cream shop. We woke up fairly early the next morning and got going so we could make it underneath a bridge at low tide and stop for fuel before heading on our way.

Coffee and a sunrise!
Baby’s first bridge! (yes, she fit!)
Florida has some of the best sunrises!
Me and my kitty

We went downtown for dinner and I got some nice pictures with my phone at night. (pretty impressed with the low light performance of this thing!)
