So last weekend Jason was in Missouri and the parents were out on a road trip leaving me completely alone in the house!  This was a rare occurrence so I celebrated by doing random things like practicing my makeup skills. (many thanks to Pinterest!) Since I spent so much time on my makeup I figured I shouldn’t waste it by just washing it off so I decided to take some self portraits because I wanted to take pictures anyway, but not necessarily go outside.  Here was the result of me standing in front of my camera on a tripod using my phone as a remote shutter.  Locations were by the front door and in the garage because there was light coming through the windows.

Overall it was a pretty good time.  I’m usually not home or otherwise busy when there’s actually good lighting. I also got to update my Facebook profile picture so it wasn’t a total waste of an afternoon. 😉
