I believe that airplane wreckage hunting may be my unofficial new hobby.  Very different location than the DC-3 I found in Iceland!  This PBY Catalina (nicknamed “Katie”) is sitting on the beach just outside the plantation in Diego Garcia.  She was lost in September of 1944 due to a storm.
