Weekend - Advinspiration

Last time we had a weekend day off in Japan we went on an exhausting whirlwind tour of Tokyo. This time we stayed fairly close and took a train up to Yokohama (yes, like the tire manufacturer) to go to the Cup Noodle Museum. Yep, an entire museum dedicated to instant ramen. Jessica loves ramen and I love random crap, so we couldn’t pass this up! You learn the history of the noodles and can even decorate your own noodle cup and create your own instant ramen. Super fun!

It was giant and very modern inside. Not at all what I expected.

The Bazaar has different flavors of ramen from all over the world. Super fun place to have lunch!

After the ramen museum we wandered our way around Yokohama for a while. There’s a lot to do here and we didn’t really have a plan for anything specific. We walked through a little amusement park and I had fun shooting the roller coasters and ferris wheel.

This is Ofuna. We made a detour here on our way back to Yokosuka.

Pretty nice weekend overall! We went and saw some fun things, but still had time to come back and relax and go get some coffee and delicious curry for dinner!
