Valley of Fire State Park has been on my photography bucket list for a few years now. I actually had no idea when my parents moved to Mesquite that it would be less than an hour away from them! Time to shoot!

We hiked down to the famous instagram landmark “fire wave”. (it was honestly pretty cool)
We also found a slot canyon (rainbow canyon?) right off the side of the road that we got to explore. I LOVE slot canyons. So many lines and shapes…just great fun to shoot!
After exploring the park for a bit Jason and I went on a drive around the area and found a few small springs!
Those would be amazing on a hot summer day! One even had little picnic tables and camp spots!
