Reykjavik Street Art - Advinspiration

Those of you who have been following my blog for more than a few months have probably picked up on the fact that I’m obsessed with graffiti and street art. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the country where there isn’t any graffiti, but I’m definitely fascinated by all the colors, shapes, and outright creativity of some people. This post is a mix of everything from funny stickers, actual graffiti, and the most badass wall murals I’ve ever seen.

This might be pretty minor, but there was wifi everywhere!

They carried their colors all the way down the wall and door and onto the pavement.

Technically this is a mosaic, but it was on a wall so I counted it.

How do they get so many details in there?

There were lots of these little covered alleys between buildings and they all had something in them.

According to this post by iheartreykjavik.net, some of the murals are inspired by songs. We found a few of the ones on her map, but not all of them! I wish I’d found that blog sooner! I could have probably spent another week just wandering around taking photos of the walls.
