So first off, when we’ve come to the Ragged Islands in the past we’ve stayed for maybe a week, explored each island for a day or two and then moved on.  Sometimes because of weather coming in but usually because we just like to move, but this anchorage between the Ragged Islands was just so serene, perfect, and protected that we were here for almost a month!

I found a few heat shield tiles from the
failed Starlink rocket launch washed up on the beach

This is all of town from the hill.
The police station is just goats now. I think the locals just police themselves.

I cleaned the boat!

A wild flamingo! They don’t look like real birds when they fly
Dan shredding it on the kite board
Another beautiful sunset

So our aforementioned friend Dan has a big youtube channel about his sailing (and other) adventures and is currently training to be on one of those survival TV shows.  To prepare for this he found a little cave on the island and turned it into a little hangout spot and spent a few days just living out there.  He invited us all over to his cave for a pot luck dinner!

Definitely not room for everyone in there. lol

Not a bad little cave!
He’s even got a little place for a fire and stove
He has a whole palm frond bed
lizard eggs on the ceiling
