I spent a few hours cleaning, detailing, and polishing up my Sitka kayak. This poor little boat has been to the Bahamas, on a boat, and has thousands of rooftop miles along with a little ring of brown gunk from sitting in the water in the Chesapeake. In other words: she was nasty. Now she shines like new and has a protective coat of wax!
Now that I have nice things again, lets take the boats out and play with them! Jason and I paddled our tandem canoe while we let our friend Victoria borrow my freshly polished kayak. We all headed out to Beaver Lake for a nice day on the water complete with a picnic lunch!
