Built in 1899 and decommissioned in 1922, the Mikasa is the last pre-dreadnought battleship in existence. Didn’t get to spend as much time wandering around there as I wanted, but she was definitely vastly different from the ships we have now. Would like to go back someday.

Aside from the impressive looking battleship sunk into concrete, Mikasa Park is also…a park! Lots of interesting fountains and waterfalls and little rivers with stepping stones through them. Way cooler than I thought it was going to be. Also a nice place to to jogging!
