Our good friend Ian (a native Floridian and excellent salt water fisherman!) diverted from his road trip to spend a week with us here in Arkansas! He’s obsessed with fishing so we took him up to Bull Shoals Lake to do some traditional midwestern fishing shenanigans. I didn’t really participate in this, but they set out float jugs that just sit in the water and passively catch fish. (ideally….) They also fished for bass, walleye, and catfish. Luckily Jason was able to borrow his dad’s boat for this adventure! I went on few extensive kayak excursions while the boys fished.
