It’s that time of the year again when we start getting ready to leave our house in Arkansas and head to Florida to get on the boat and go to the Bahamas!

2 duffels are all the clothing we bring for 5 months
I finally have my own machete to use to clear the trails!

As usual we have some work to do on the boat before we leave, so we hit that pretty hard before the boat goes into the water!

We installed a new bow sprit to move the anchor and spinnaker attachment forward
I made a nice little storage area in the bilge for food and supplies
I couldn’t get anything to stay hung in the closet, so I made this piece of aluminum with holes in it. That shouldn’t pull out of the wood!
No more shitty plastic broken hangers
Keelie is a sporty little cat
Keelie again
Sloopy likes to ride on shoulders, but Jason’s are bigger than mine so he’s the favorite
solar panels and foil board rack installed
This is what 5 months of food looks like.
The boat is a disaster as we try to squirrel everything away
That’s more like it!
Time to get the boat in the water
splash time
Ready to roll!

Bahamas bound!
