From the rugged Ragged Islands we sailed back up north to Georgetown which feels like a big city in comparison! This season we decided that we don’t like being away from home and family for so long so we’re going to put the boat in one of the 3 “hurricane holes” on Stocking Island and fly home for a visit! Since we bypassed Georgetown entirely on our way south, we did explore a little bit before we left.  Since we didn’t want to buy a bunch of food before we were going to be gone for a week we got to eat at restaurants and everything!

This restaurant has pretty good burgers!

swings on the beach
little cruiser hangout
The trash truck right next to the dinghy dock
instagram wall. Never seen the restaurant open though…

This is why I stock up on coffee before I go

waaaay more boats than we’ve seen since leaving florida!

Now it’s time to head to the airport!

To the left is the airport terminal and to the right is the lounge which is really just a bar and restaurant. There’s no WIFI anywhere.
